It was lovely to have nearly everyone together to celebrate Joseph and have his blessing (naming day).

Messy Church

We had quite a quiet Saturday and headed to our local church for the quarterly messy church. The girls had a brilliant time creating lots of Autumn crafts and having a good run around in the hall.

Teresa Thursday

Bobbie and I absolutely love our local swing. The guy at the house just stuck it in his tree for his kids, but we get lots of fun from it too.

We spent the morning up at the All Saints church group then after had a wander around the grave yard. The kids were quite interested in the graves. There's loads of really interesting gothic gravestones in this yard.

Conference Weekend Away

Dan and I got Friday and Saturday to ourselves as Grandma and Grandpa took Amy and Bobbie home for the weekend. We got to potter about and had time for a visit to Ikea on the way to Thurlby. On the Sunday we dropped by Nottingham Stake Centre to watch the Morning session of General Conference.

I just think these photo's are amazing. Both families are on Daniels side. I wish I knew more about their lives and stories. Looking at these photos just makes you wonder what life was like for them back then and what their hopes and dreams were.

Amy has a keen interesting in drawing/writting/designing. Give the girl a piece of paper and a pen and she's away. Here is a bunch of photos of bits and bobs she's done. Most of them are from the summer term (May-July 2014).

I love this one of our family. I like how my pregnant tummy is part of our family. She did this a while before Joseph was born.

Graves Park (Teresa Thursdays)

 We had a lovely Thursday morning at Graves Park. Bobbie had been asking to go for a little while.
