Start of the half term holiday

We set off on Friday afternoon for a fun filled half term holiday.
First stop Durham, where we stayed at Isobelle's mum's house (who actually lives in Canada). Isobelle's sisters are currently living there and having been doing a great job at fixing it up. It was a complete wreck when it was first bought so they've done loads.

Amy was well impressed by the deer skull. Turns out Jessica found it in a bog while working on a deer stalking estate on the Isle of Jura. Needless to say, she got a few weird looks on public transport getting it back to Yorkshire strapped to her backpack.

Having a go at bell ringing , while Joseph and I got interviewed by ITV for the local news that evening.

This just takes me back to the last time I was in Durham, 10 years ago while dating Dan on a road trip up to Gateshead for a concert at the Sage with Alistair, Adam and Dan.

Boy do I miss rowing!
