Silly Sisters

Typical dinner time when the girls get together.

Market Square-on-Sea

After leaving Amy's shoes at the Liddle's we met them in town to pick them up. We hung around in town and Niki and the kids joined us for a spot of beach fun in the old market square. The kids had a brilliant time even though it wasn't particularly hot.

Visiting the Liddle's

We had a lovely lazy afternoon in the sun at Ria's place. It was so good to catch up and meet her little ones. Amy had a lovely time fiddling about with the kids bits and bobs.

Passport

We thought about getting away in September so Bobbie needed as passport. This was the only image of Bobbie that was even remotely good enough, I dread to think how much time and money we would have wasted in a photo booth.

Washing Duplo

Amy is so independant. After breakfast she declared that she is going to clean the Duplo. What I didn't realise is that she meant outside, so she collected her tools and got to work. Meanwhile Bobbie looked on through the patio window.

Amy and Emma

More cousin fun. The girls spend a happy afternoon together creating Mr Maker puppets and cardbox dens.

Hinckley

My attempts to get the kids to all look at me completely fail. Fun at the Stephenson's.

Doctor, doctor...

Makes me wonder whether she'll follow in her Father's footsteps, in both profession and taste in glasses!

Wollaton

A nice way to start our time living in Nottingham, a picnic with a bunch of the ladies from church at Wollaton Hall, aka Wayne manor or the place where Dan proposed to me. The kids had a great time. The older ones got to play sports and in true Olympic style were awarded medals for their efforts. Great idea by Anne, party rings on ribbons, needless to say the medals didn't last long.

Amy has been camping out on our bedroom floor while Bobbie yells here head off and gets used to her new room. The last few nights Amy has been migrating into strange positions in her sleep, poor child, the rocking chair isn't going to give her much shelter!

We've been enjoying having a lovely big garden with grass. Bobbie's current favourite is being pushed at high speed up and down the garden.

Riverside Festival

Another day and another event. Lydia and I decided we wanted to check out the Riverside festival and all the Cryer kids wanted to come along too. The atmosphere was fun and there was lots to see and do. We all had a go on a stall or ride (Lucy, Jack and I enjoyed the swings). The best area was where you got to try out  various sports and get loads of Haribo and Ribena for free, Dan stowed away to the bluegrass tent. The live music was brilliant.

Very pleased with the stash.

Cousin fun

Just a little trip to the park with everyone.

Between us there were about a million kids!
It's terrible how some parents treat their babies!!

Super heroes

We had a right laugh at the annual West Bridgford lark in the park. There was absolutely loads to see and do  and we got there early so the kids had the chance to try out nearly everything.

The dynamic duo.
Taking their new roles seriously!

Swirling paint pictures, peddle the bicycle, slop a load of paint on and make a pretty swirly picture.
Amy just wanted to wear her cape everywhere... this is her at Holme Peirpont when we went for a little bike ride.
Cuddles with Uncle Scott.                                 Heidi not too impressed with her cousin.
