Lincolnshire show

I thought I'd take the opportunity to visit the Lincolnshire show while we had the chance living in the area. We were so lucky with the weather, it was a clear hot day, just perfect for ambling around the show. The next day was an absolute washout and the place turned into a mudbath.

We arrived quite early taking the bus. The site is massive, so it took us a little while to work out where everything was and what we wanted to see during the day.
The pig racing was a laugh and Amy definitely shouted the loudest for her pig, he even won one of the races! I enjoyed looking at all the livestock, there were some funny characters.

One of the latest stones created for the cathedral.

By the end of the day Amy had amassed quite a collection of badges. There were so many freebies throughout the show, my favourite by far was the coop ice cream.
This shot was taken by the Lincoln Echo photographer. The link includes a load of other pictures from the day.
