Fortunately for us the torch relay passed directly in front of our house. Joao and Patricia joined us for the festivities, we even managed to get tickets to the party in the park after.
I headed down the hill to find a spot to watch the fire works display by the Brayford,
The torch set off the next morning from the cathedral. We got a good view of the action, the weather wasn't anything like the day before.
